TECH CLEAN CALIFORNIA FOR HVAC
TECH Clean California offically relaunched on April 25th, 2023 for Single-Family Statewide Heat Pump HVAC Incentives!
Now in its second year, TECH Clean California has over 1,000 enrolled contractors who can help households claim $1,000 for new heat pump HVAC systems, with up to two incentivized systems per home for a total of $2,000 when replacing a gas appliance. Incentives are available on a first-come, first-served basis.
Single family incentives for heat pump water heaters are available for qualifying installations starting at $3,100 per unit. Please check the “Budget Report” for the availability of funds in your territory. Incentives are available on a first-come, first-served basis.

IID’s energy management programs are designed to help customers use energy efficiently, protect the environment and save money. Energy efficient upgrades to your home and business improve operating costs and profitability, protect the environment and assist the IID in lowering the cost of power generation.
The IID (Imperial Irrigation District) Energy Rewards Program offers rebates for qualifying energy-efficient HVAC system, Electric Heat Pump HVAC system, Ductless Mini Split system, that customers purchased for their homes to reduce energy costs and improve their comfort.
General Requirements
- Qualifying product(s) must be purchased & installed in 2024, and applied for by December 31, 2024.
- Must submit an invoice/receipt that provides 1) the qualifying product information (brand & model), 2) proof of purchase, and 3) other measure-specific requirements as outlined below.
